it depends on the place here. some do have free refills, others will still make u pay altho cheaper than it's orginal price.

in 1993. I was in Germany for 3 weeks. and I remember going to a pizza place and they gave me free refills. now whether that's common everywhere or not I don't know but I know that bistro Charlie's gave me free unlimited soft drink refills

Depends on the restaurant free refills are not everyone where you have to ask. Usually always free refill at fast food though.

This is so true!! And we learned this the hard way! When out to dinner our first night in Germany (military family) one of my older brothers had a Fanta with 6 “refills”🤣🤣🤣
