She’s old. Elderly. She ended up at the slaughter holding facility because she won’t get pregnant anymore. She can’t pull the plow anymore. She’s just a worthless mouth to feed, according to her previous owners, and if you don’t work— you don’t eat. She was dropped off at the next auction in deplorable condition. Her emaciated hips sticking out like coat hangers. Her coat dull, her eyes downcast and depressed. She’s seen her day, and some might even argue being brutally slaughtered is all that is left to do with her. But we don’t agree. We want to see a spark back in her eye, treat her stress diarrhea, and help her old aching bones with anti inflammatories and deep straw bedding. Let her lay down and take a rest being supervised by top class equine veterinarians. We can do all that and more… if I can just convince the public to take a chance on her. To donate to our 501c3 charity and save her from this place. It’s tax deductible and if every single one of our followers sent just us $1… we could save her and every single horse here. $1 matters. $1 makes a difference. Maybe she won’t go on to win ribbons or compete in the Olympics, but honestly neither will I or most of us. Her live still matters. She’s still important. Do you think you could spare a $1 to save #equestrianlife #rescueanimals #horses #rescue #minidonkey
