Went to Team Lab Borderless when I was there in June. We did it the first day we arrived while we were waiting for our hotel. A very fun and stress-free activity. This room with the lamps was one of my absolute favorites.

I went to TeamLab in Osaka. It was magical. However, I’d be afraid to go into the water in TLTokyo. Foot fungus exists. I trust the locals when it comes to cleanliness, however, Americans aren’t as mindful of others like the locals.

If you do not feel like taking off your shoes both TeamLab borderless and TeamLab vortex in Kyoto do this without the barefoot thing. Both are far more interesting in my opinion.
