yeah, at least according to NJ law, keeping a continuous recording device in a setting where it'll pick up others' conversations without their consent is a crime. You also say "they don't have to know" when giving your scenarios. You're just promoting a device by saying it can be used to eavesdrop or invade someone's privacy and pretending it's about child safety when we all know how to actually make American kids safer in school, but no one wants to hear it.
