@themanspantry: Would you believe I made these soft, golden sub rolls with just a few simple ingredients? Watch how they come together—so easy, so good. 🥖✨ Ingredients • 500g bread flour • 325ml warm water • 2 tbsp sugar • 1 tbsp yeast • 1 tsp salt • 3 tbsp unsalted butter Instructions • Combine warm water (90°–110°F) with sugar. • Add yeast and let bloom for 5 minutes. • Pour yeast mixture into a stand mixer bowl with half the flour (250g). • Mix until combined, then add the remaining flour. • Mix for 3 minutes, or until dough stops sticking to the bowl. • Add salt and mix for another 3 minutes. • Cube cold butter and add gradually until all 3 tbsp are incorporated. • Mix until dough absorbs the butter and no longer sticks to the bowl (about 5–7 minutes). • Transfer dough to a greased bowl and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled. • Divide dough into 5 pieces (~180g each). • Stretch each piece into a large rectangle. • Roll into a cylinder and pinch both ends closed. • Place rolls on a parchment-lined tray and rest for 45 minutes. • Preheat oven to 400°F. • Place ice cubes in an oven-safe tin on the bottom rack for steam. • Put rolls in the oven and reduce temp to 375°F. • Bake for 22 minutes, until golden brown. #subsandwiches #bread #homemadebread #fypengland #softbread
