This is way off topic, but it’s so sobering how unexpected, weird things happen to us in our lives, things that can be permanent and life altering. None of it is outside of the loving will of God, of course, but people who don’t know Christ, especially, can’t contextualize these things in light of eternity. My very healthy 42 year old brother-in-law just went blind in one eye, seemingly randomly, and it’s unclear whether his surgery is going to make any difference one way or another. It makes you think…
