The effectiveness of those lenses depends mainly on the persons remaining central vision, like me, I still have enough central vision to benefit from them, but it’s different for everyone with stargardts

I don’t have the same condition but I had them to read but couldn’t use them for driving because I didn’t have enough eye control.

I have used one of these for about 25 years and absolutely love mine! I don’t like that model though. I like the one with the single scope on the one lens.

I have Stargarfts disease and no central vision but I love my bioptic. I just got my licnece again. It’s hard at first but I had so many hours of training that I adapted to it. When ai first got them I thought they wouldn’t help me at all but i’m lucky it worked well for me! I’m sorry it hasn’t been great for you.

because if I stand correctly star guards affects your central vision so the central vision is distorted and not clear. and in order to use bioptic glasses it requires your central vision. so that's why they don't work for you.
