@chariseyvonne: Grab some ginger on your lunch break if you have time! Here's where I found the organic ginger I am currently sprouting. The produce section may have it in a container or unwrapped altogether depending on where you shop. Make sure to check for healthy, undamaged nodes so you'll increase your chances of success. This is a tropical plant so it will do best in a similar environment. For those up north, a greenhouse, grow tent, heated plant mat, and grow lights might do the trick if you don't have a temperature controlled space to grow. Just keep the soil from drying out (not soggy) and grow away! What I harvested last week was planted in early Spring this year. I pulled it out of the pot before our first frost. Check your growing zone and season so you'll know when to start indoors and transplant outside if needed. Happy Gardening, Friends! TIP: Search for organic ginger in the Instacart app to see who sells it close to you. 😉
