Noo.. You’re not factoring in anti trans/ anti gender queerness that is extremely pervasive rn. Femmes have this privilege over mascs bc of how we’re perceived. I think what can be oppressive is a proximity to misogyny/heteronormativity but either femme/masc can weaponize that

I’m a masc lesbian, and at least once a day someone in public will look at me like I’m disgusting. I get ostracized from groups at work and in my social life because I am gender-non-conforming. I’m very sorry that your experience around masc lesbians has been different, but they do not apply to all cases.

Idk I’m not even masc but the “privileges” that masc women get for their gender presentation are more like temporary social advantages that are highly conditional. Sure, in certain work settings, being masculine in looks may help some people take you more seriously than being super feminine. However, it’s still largely conventionally feminine women who are in leaderships roles. Them exhibiting traditionally masculine personality traits of being strong, collected leaderships coupled with being a gender-conforming feminine woman will be them at an advantage over a masc, non-gender conforming woman.
