A year ago , my doctor told me my A1C was. 6. 7 and I was 245 lbs It took me a almost a year dieting , and exercising got it down to 5 .3 and 195 lbs And I What from six medication to 2 meds It's true you exercise and you eat Right and you could get healthy.

It's the amount of glucose (sugar) attached to your red blood cells. Red blood cells die every 90 days, that's why we check the A1C at least 90 days apart so we're not measuring the same cells.
