I forget what the guys channel is but a YouTuber proved that not only do mice not actually run at 8k they only do it during certain movements. Optimum Tech. Higher polling is more accurate, but you simply don’t need it.

I can personaly feel and see the difference between 1000hz and 8000hz (i have a 390hz monitor). I use 4000hz since i have a mouse that supports that. 8k polling is just wasting battery, but using polling of 2k feels like ur wasting the potential of ur mouse…

you will notice the difference between 2k and 4k if you’re on 3600+ dpi, otherwise stay on 2k

1. Valorant is compatible with 8khz 2. You have better control and less delay over your mouse with higher polling rate, the downside is the strain on ur cpu but raw accel should kinda fix it

4 and 8k is just not worth it at all 😭 It’s literally just a placebo and will not impact your performance whatsoever. The higher the polling rate the less efficient your pc will run and therefor more frame drops that you can actually notice 😭

CPU doesn't work harder if you have a high polling rate on your peripherals 👍 Also Anything above 250Hz polling rate is useless Unless we're talking top of the specs PC, and Grand Finals of eSports, nobody will notice a slight difference 👍

stop spreading misinformation on topics you know nothing about. fps drop from 4000hz+ has to do with the timer used for the system wall clock. valorant uses a buffer for raw input so it doesnt matter about you cpu processing power on modern processors.

some games just die on 8k polling rate. don't want to switch settings between games. had super hard lags whenever I moved my mouse on some games.

Not true ,problem with battle yes obviously you are on wireless absolutely not true is going to use more CPU resources yes maybe 1-3% more but if you have more than 6 cores on your CPU there is no problem because usually games use only your first 6 cores for gaiming and the others go for background apps so it doesn't matter for most people I play the finals and I can tell you with my 8000hz mouse I have no problem maybe because I have 12 cores CPU and it can take care of my 8000hz polling rate without problem but he is right you will mostly likely not notice the difference between 2k and 4k/8k difference they exist but they are not big and you can have problems with high polling rate in the finals but prosnaly I don't have and you probably wont

Generally, yes but specifically on aim trainers it’s pretty noticeable in the feeling and for the eyes on high refresh rate 360-480hz
