As someone who grew up in a Muslim and Christian household . Thank you for this. My mom and dad literally celebrated everything possible everything under the sun. And we never felt the pressure to choose. I appreciate it so much now.

No one celebrated Christmas harder than my best friend’s moderate Palestinian Muslim mom. She really went for it. She liked the decorations and presents. Ramadan was her food Olympics. No one broke a fast like her. It was epic

i definitely get this. i describe myself as culturally catholic, meaning i have the guilt and the holidays (the tree and the chocolate eggs), but not the religious churchgoing aspects of it.

I’m Jewish married someone who was raised Muslim. My stepfather was Christian so we celebrate Eid and Ramadan but also all the Jewish holidays and Christmas for my dad. 🫶🏼✌🏼

I am catholic and my husband is Jewish... we are the same way...we celebrate the holidays/traditions...but we are not practicing ...and we are very happy.
