Retired RT here and I could not believe this happen in front of everyone. Bystander intervention is not doing anything because we believe others will. Reporting her is a responsibility of everyone to step in and voice your opposition. Nurses and other get burnt out or never should have pursued nursing and just see $.

These MFs missed that I had pre eclampsia, and when I had full blown eclampsia and was having seizures during labour, mfs were shaking me and asking if it’s a pain response 🙃 like mam, I cannot form a damn sentence

The NHS culture is racist and corrupt my daughter who was recently seen by a Black clinical nurse we were relieved until she opened her toxic practice and we were treated just the same as we would expect from a white one pure corruption for Black patients

As a yt woman my pain is ignored and I am ALWAYS aware of how mine is taken more seriously than any woman [or person, but we're talking women here] of color. F that nurse, the high school bully's favorite career path. But for doctors to be like omg I'm so shocked... Do you have eyes? Do you work with people? Do you do anything but paperwork? It's literally part of your job to be aware of this. It's your job to know how high the infant and maternal mortality rate is for black women especially, but also all women of color. But everyone just wants to pretend to be outraged instead? Half of the people in the medical field should not be there. Where was do no harm when a mom with two babies at home is screaming for help? She knows that baby is low, she knows she needs to deliver. Clarify allergies and any info that you need to put on a bracelet, tag mom, and you can ask her how many pregnancies she's had on the way back. Yes, they need info in a medical setting but we're past early labor and have moved to putting two lives at risk. The nurse needs a new career far from vulnerable people.
