We did two ryokans on our trip. Kounso on lake Yamanaka and it’s was very affordable. Then Yado Kiramachi in Kyoto and that was unbelievable

What’s the cost of the actual cost without the extra for the items you wanted to experience? Thanks

I do love this place! I went when Japan was still closed to tourists during Covid and only paid a few hundred. It was a once in a lifetime experience!
