Must be halong bay at peak season as the season is oct to apr, we usuallt recommend guests to move to Lan Ha Bay or Bai Tu Long Bay or cruises with different route instead, as the route no 2 is extremely crowded

I went on 5 star cruise, although the cruise was very nice (and very expensive), I don’t recommend Halong Bay. Definitely go Ninh Binh instead.

Crowded? It's not about luxury or standard boat, it's about the time your boat leaves the port. I guess you left the port at around 12pm.
