Mito already made it clear on multiple occasions that she did not like him back. Also mito only asked for her memories of ruka to be lost and not for Ren to make false memories and forcibly make her love him back, Ren knew that his father was only using Mito but still obeyed while ruka fought for her. Also let’s talk about how he made mito a guy and refused to turn her back when she asked him too? Ren had potential at first but was just a total jackass in the end.
