if any of you guys are in the planning phase, add Labuan Bajo (Komodo), Lombok, and Sumbawa. close flights from Bali. the first two are common destinations, but people are still sleeping on Sumbawa (even the locals, i am also a local), some Lombok guides also offer trips to Sumbawa, u can reach them out via IG armaaannd, humaidi_makruf. last one if u love marine life, def go to Raja Ampat (quite far flight Bali), it’s still on my to go list 🥹

you just went on a wrong timing girl. it's unfortunate that you didn't get to see the rice terrace at a better time because the one I saw in Ubud was as beautiful as those you see on the internet. and Bali has a lot more to offer than beach clubs, the amount of activities you can do there is just insane. you can do water activities in Benoa, dolphin watching in Lovina, island hopping to Gili islands, going underwater in a submarine, paragliding, rafting, and many moree

i just wanna add, that rinjani is considered an advanced hiking, so if it's your first time doing the volcano hiking, i would recommend a guide and a porter.
