This is also the reason why some people are unemployable and will always be an hourly worker. Sometimes you make sacrifices and it shows. I work for free 24 hours a day 7 days a week until I have a closing. Sometimes they fall through and I never get paid. That’s what separates someone that will move up vs always punch a time clock. Your choice but that’s why they are where they are unfortunately. Out in the effort and it will pay off

My time is getting paid.I don't work for free. my grandchild works at Subway and it has an abundance of turnaround management doesn't seem to have a standard of procedure manual either or at least they don't follow it. The newest manager told her she had to clock out by 10 o'clock at night, but to finish her work for the next 45 minutes off the clock, as I mentioned to my child, that is not going to happen so you can inform your manager that I'll come and talk to her about the laws of how life works. She now does not clock out early, and she works.The time she's supposed to I don't understand companies who think they can do that
