i think its lack of hospital, urgency and possibly racism. when i worked in emergency, if she would've walked through the door we would have got her straight to L&D. "what's you're name.and how far along are you?" thats all they needed. that nurse should have her liscense suspended if not revoked! she clearly knew that baby was gonna come out at any moment.

Unfortunately, I've overheard people in my lifetime saying that black women exaggerate their pain, but in all honesty, if I were a nurse or doctor I would not be doubting a patient's pain. I would do my best to assist my patient and help her get the care she needs and deserves. Also, everyone's pain tolerance is extremely different. This is just terrible 😞

She should have gotten the info later, when it comes to medical emergencies like this, they treat you first and get the info later. This was so messed up. In medical emergencies they get your info later. I’m a daughter of an RN and in the medical field myself totally unacceptable.
