I read to my daughter who is now24 & she still reads multiple books a WEEK I had to get her a Kindle cuz I couldn’t keep up with buying physical books fast enough. In elementary school the teachers asked me to send in extra books for her cuz she read what the teachers had 🤣

you are such a wonderful dad, I remember doing this with my kids and it truly helped my son who is legally blind learn to love books and helped broaden his imagination. he was reading chapter books in kindergarten as long as I was able to enlarge the words and change the color of the pages cause he can't see black ink on white paper. he is 25 now and collects books that I read to him or taught him to read during his childhood he's trying to make what he calls his favorite library 😁 so I just want to say keep up this amazing bonding time with your babies it is truly special and i hope your babies enjoy every single book. ❤️

Love this.. my son devoured this series and called out the movies as well. On a personal note I'm doing the LOTR series now.. I do a read through then again with a audio book, read by the actor who played Gollum. Highly recommend. 👍👍👍

I used the Harry Potter books to get my oldest excited about reading! She has dyslexia and really wanted to keep up with the other kids. She's passed them by now ❣️

I love this!! So many kids watch a screen and not crack a book and use their imagination. I love reading and I’m so glad my kids and grandkids love to read also.

I love that you’re doing this! I read books to my children and when my husband was home (recruiter with insane hours) he would read to them. They are 24/21 now and still love books!

As a pretentious book nerd whose love of books started with Harry Potter I love this so much!!! Always encourage her to note the differences. I HATED books for years!! I watched the HP movies before I picked up the books!!! I picked them up in my late teens and haven’t stopped since. I now read over 100 books a year!! 🖤🖤🖤
