I even hung your portrait on my wall, Because I thought you were the one who gave us hope. But you paid us back with fear. You paid us back with pain. You tore down our parents’ homes, You caged our voices, You taught us to whisper instead of speak. Look at me now , I’m burning your portrait. That’s how sick we are of you. That’s how DONE we are. Even Jay Polly said it , The youth cry in silence, Speaking in riddles, Because truth in this country is a death sentence. But not anymore. #MillenZMovement has woken up. We see you now. We see your greed. We see that you fight only for your children’s future ,not ours. We see that in Rwanda, you die if you speak… and you die if you stay silent. So we choose to SPEAK. We choose to FIGHT. We choose to LIVE FREE , because freedom of expression is our RIGHT. Not a gift from you. You said at Unity Club that no one dares tell you to step down. Well, guess what? We’re telling you. Step. Down. Now. Because Rwanda is not your inheritance. It’s not your kingdom. It’s not your family business. Rwanda belongs to its people. And the people ,are DONE being afraid.
