Back the plate with some sticky rubber. It's merely the plates' vibration, doesn't have to rub against anything to mske the sound.

Why didn't you try when you removed the plate to see if the issue or the sound will be solved or not

the whole bracket is vibrating not just the plate. try a rubber washer on the mounting screws on the mounting bracket.

Won’t lie both drz’s I’ve had I’ve spent hours apon hours chasing phantom rattles some were something, some had 10k as a phantom

Idk if its the plate. Could be the engine itself vibrating and the whole bike hitting some kind of a resonance

its the timing chain all the china pitbikes 110 and 125ccs china quads all of them have same engine and it always has the timing chain or valve ticking sound

1/8" aluminum plate tge same size as tge plate allows you to use 4 bolts to hold the thin plate. add a 3rd hole in the 1/8" plate to the bracket.

My exhaust rattles when I rev high let’s check everything but the exhaust 🤯🤯 brilliant
