@whatalexdid: DJI have just quietly released the Osmo Action 6 action camera in China ahead of the global launch and it’s already blowing up online. From what I have seen so far, specs, comparisons and footage are everywhere but the upgrade from the Osmo Action 5 Pro isn’t enough to make me want to get the Action 6! A variable aperture and 1.1 inch sensor are nice but it doesn’t feel like enough to make me want to upgrade from the 5 Pro to the Action 6. The timing is the strange part as they have teased the global release for the 18th November and then gone ahead and launched in China on the 13th November which makes zero sense! My own opinion is that DJI have released the Action 6, GoPro will then release the Hero 14 next year and DJI will then release the Osmo Action 6 Pro! If you’re choosing between the Action 6 and the Action 5 Pro, if it was me I would wait for next week for the Black Friday sales to start.
