I want to know why in 2025 we're still using thermal paste. computers have evolved so much over the years and yet we're still rely on thermal paste. why as humans have we not developed something to replace it or develop a new way to call CPUs? that's not water cooled for example

Doesn’t taking it off actually make it so that when you put it back together, air bubbles appear between the cpu and cooler, making it worse at removing said heat???
