I think people have reduced creole to French based when in reality creole is literally a language that developed from 2 or more languages. In the inception it’s called a PIDGIN LANGUAGE once a group of children are raised speaking it it then becomes a creole. Whatever is the predominant language is the base— SO U HAVE FRENCH BASED, ARABIC BASED creoles; ENGLISH BASED ETC. JUBA ARABIC AND KI-NUBI ARE BOTH ARABIC BASE CREOLES 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

But a few of the words like bayakpu is indeed a Taino word.my main argument was with people telling me they are Taino and not African.haiti has the most homogeneous African group outside of Africa over 90% of haitiens are pure African even in my case with a Jewish grandfather I still have 60% African and zero Taino.my daughters have 43% native but that come from their mother “el Salvador”

in my opinion, Haitian Creole is a Sacred Language.

and during the American invasion, we created the Bolite to communicate with each other... and I know that the day we really put ourselves in a position to free the country, we will create another one for communication so that they do not understand anything🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹

Creole is a word used by white supremacists to demean the Haitian language. The Haitian revolution created the Haitian Language, so just call it Haitian or better yet Ayisyen.
