natural asbestos is ok.
it's just a rock.
it's the way they process it into fibres that makes it bad.
like a chunk of glass vs fibre glass. same difference

crystal shops are filled with toxic crystals with no understanding of the dangers. in New Zealand, zebra jasper is very popular to buy, and keep on a shelf. its layers of asbestos. cinnibar is mercury. both of these are sold loose in display bowls, but should be sold and kept in sealed containers to protect from the toxins. no problem if stored correctly, but no one seems to know the rules

It's fine like that. It's actually a beautiful mineral but so dangerous when processed

Doesn't look like asbestos to me but to be sure I'm not going to ask you to put on a mask and pick at it. When I mined brown asbestos for an experiment I could see hairs before I touched the rocks.

even in its natural state the fibres can be in the air if you kick up dust, ..natural weathering will release fibres, ..just walking near it can put fibres in the air and then you breath them in and then 20 years later you die from cancer

chrysotile (white 'fluffy') asbestos is far less dangerous than crocidolite (blue) asbestos. Blue asbestos has straight 'needle' fibres which penetrate lungs deeper

Yep :
I don't think it look like natural asbestos, as the fractures through the rock doesn't resemble asbestos, more of a shale or stone. asbestos in any of its natural forms have silicate mineral fibers.
most of the rock I can see in the video has smoth faces and the peaces on the ground are holding the face and shape

Needs to be in fine particles floating in the air absorbed into your lungs to do any damage

it is complerely harmless in its natural state, it is when it is disturbed such as in mining that it is deadly
