I had a plumber come in and freeze my line to remove bad gate valve and put in a new one without shutting off water to the entire neighborhood.

Bro go buy a pro press machine for cheap and do it yourself with water on. You can do it super easy and will cost u less

Don't fill the take in the back. Takes wayyy less water to pour it in the bowl and it goes right down.

You can flush a toilet if you put water in the top /back of the toilet and use the flusher

Yes a 5 gallon bucket should flush a toilet at least twice.

Most homes have a shutoff valve at the meter going to your home it’s in the ground. It’s a box you open it up. You turn off the water you fix your valve. Turned back on the water. Pretty simple.

When it froze over in Texas a few years back I didn’t have running water so for toilets we used pool water( all we had, and do not recommend) but we would just pour a bucket into the tank and do your thing and then just fill the tank back up

Open the tank in the back part of your toilet. As long as that is filled with water you can go normally.

This happened to me before not being able to use the toilet. So I went to find the nearest public Porta Potty and used it for couple of days until my restroom got fix.

There should be a shut off for just your house. Call your local water authority. Then You can put some new shut offs in and fix that leak.
