All because of greed, they could not be bothered to design a plane from scratch to compete with Airbus so botched the original 737. But that’s life now days, all about the money not about people.

I don't like any Boeing 737! I flew a very old 737-200 from HEL to AMS 2 months ago. You pay for ticket but you don't choose which plane to carry you.

MCAS; needed because of the bigger engines more in front of the wings. To have a bigger 737 to compete with the Airbus A320. And to not engineer a complete new airplane frame.
