@paige_bake_: We found the make your own music box shop in Kyoto and this was my favorite souvenir! We went to Kyoto Orgel-Do Arashiyama and it was such a fun experience and the workers were so nice. The whole experience took about an hour and a half from picking everything out to designing it. And you will have to come back to pick your box up so they can make sure it’s properly dry and packaged. First you pick out your base and music. They have many options for music ranging from classical songs to Disney and k pop. Lots of base designs to pick from too. Then you go upstairs and pick out your figurines. They have lots of Japanese figures and many holiday options. After you pick these out and pay you start gluing them on. When you are done the employees will keep them for about an hour and you come back and pick up your securely packaged music box.
