@archaeologyreport2: As cool as it looks, modern renditions of Bronze Age Greek armour aren't accurate. In reality, the proto-Greeks known as Mycenaeans wore boar tusk helmets and chunky bronze and leather armour. Recently, scientists put the suits to the test and found out that they are, in fact, incredibly durable and suitable for battle. After an eleven-hour simulation session of ancient battle tactics, the scientists concluded that the armour was mobile enough to fight in, durable enough to keep you alive, and breathable enough not to kill you from heat stress. It looked like that for a Mycenaean in late Bronze Age. The hoplites iconic helmet was from a different age. That very design is Corinthian but it should be much more colorful either way.

Okay so ur kinda right. The first armour you showed was from later Greece, in the city state age which was real. But the epic cycle and most mythological stories we see are set in Mycenaean Greece and it looked very different. Despite the fact Homer mentions plumed helmets, realistically, Mycenaeans didn’t have that. Homer was around about 300 years after the end of Mycenaean Greece however so he might not have known this when writing his epics.
