@nomadnarrative90: The tomb of Prophet Saleh (A.S.), who was sent to the people of Thamud, is located about 175 km from the city of Salalah, nestled on a small hill among rugged mountains. It is a place of complete silence, a silence in which you can still hear the echoing sounds of birds hidden somewhere in the cliffs. The atmosphere was so peaceful that it felt as if time had come to a halt, and I had somehow traveled back into the ancient past. It takes at least two hours to reach this site. The entire 175-km route runs along the coastline, with a vast mountain range on one side and a breathtaking, endless coastline on the other. Along the way, you pass through beautiful towns like Mirbat and Taqah, picturesque fishing villages, and wide, untouched white-sand beaches. If you visit between July and September, the scenes, along with the weather, keep changing every moment, sometimes sunny, sometimes foggy, sometimes rainy, and sometimes clouds wandering freely above the sea and mountains. Most importantly, the majority of accidents on this scenic road are not caused by cars, but by the camels that you will see everywhere along the way.
