no need for prong collar, use slip lead same results without hurting dog and you have to engage with the dog building confidence in you and being in your company without feeling pain, it may take longer but I'd rather have a dog that loves working with me than one who is forced and my technique works with every type of dog this won't work with a soft natured dog, 10 mins bollocks these videos are misleading there is no time limit take as long as it takes don't rush and cut corners.

I have used a prong collar with all my dogs (Rotties, pit, Bernese Mountain dog and yes, 3 huskies) and if used well, it works like a charm. Emphasis on USED WELL.

certified dog trainer in my state. They teach prong collars. It’s not harmful. Just don’t abuse your dog. Each tool can be used correctly or be abused. If you’re hurting your dog, you’re doing it wrong. I’d rather not have a collapsed trachea with a regular collar choking them out.
