I think it is because Cheron has good gas for higher grade gas. It is one of those top tier gasoline that can last many miles. I recommend Sunoco if you want an alternative.

It’s 10 cents. For a 15 gallon tank, that’s $1.50. Lots of people don’t care enough to go out of their way.

Sometimes it depends on what side of the street the gas station is located. It is easier to make a right turn than a left turn.

Nah I don’t get it. In the UK the difference of a few pennies will get people driving to the next petrol station. 3-4p makes a big difference, so the forecourts monitor each other’s prices daily. But on the main road near me in SoCal, there’s about 8 gas stations in one mile and prices vary by $0.80 or even a dollar at times. Yet there’s always cars at the +$1 site.

Loyalty incentives can make the more expensive one cheaper to some, e.g. typing in your grocery rewards number to save 20 cents a gallon
