@shawnthefoodsheep: Here’s what it’s like to go to a TOGA run in Houston 🏛️✨ To celebrate their new exhibition, Art and Life in Imperial Rome: Trajan and His Times, the Museum of Fine Arts teamed up with Loose Lace Run Club for a one-night-only TOGA social. The first 100 people got an exclusive TOGA Run shirt (shoutout to Sun & Ski Sports), and I even caught my buddy Tucker giving a full-on lecture to some young legionnaires 😂 We kicked things off at the Cloud Column in the beautiful Cullen Sculpture Garden, took a big group photo, went over the route and museum memberships, and then we were off. Running in a toga? Definitely harder than it looks. But the post-run party made it worth it — ISA Matcha was serving drinks (I got the banana bread flavor), and Shakkar brought Roman-inspired treats: danishes, tiramisu, caramel cookies, and their fig–honey–almond croissant that was insanely good. Finished the night with free embroidery from Stitch & Press, and while I headed out, plenty of people kept the party going with way better dance moves than I could ever pull off.
