It’s the evaluation of what kids play with. Back in the day it was with other kids then toys then stuffed animals than dolls than ipads

each movies villain represents a negative way toys are treated sid abuses toys intentionally damages them for his own enjoyment he also steals toys from his sister who treats toys much better denying her proper toys to play with and toys a kid to play with. prospector is a toy thats never been played with. a relic. whos been left alone for so long he believes that being shown in a museum to gain dust and wither silently vanish into history is better than being a toy. hes also as aspect on how collectors or sellers deprive children of toys gor financial benefit. lotso is a scorned toy. abandond by his kid. he becomes something of a king within the daycare dictating which toys go where. hes aware that hes leaving the toys in the kindergarten to be mistreated but dosnt care because he has the power and influence not to. 4 shows that two wrongs dont make a right and that daycares should try harder to teach kids to handle toys with care. gabby gabby is a toy out of her prime. broken. shelved. old. nobody wants her. nobody seems to be interested. she wanted to fix her voice because she believed her issue was that she initially broken. in the end 4 to me is meant to show that even an old toy like gabby can still be new to a kid. 5. lilypad. the input for an ipad. in the trailer lillypad is shown as being rude. kinda obnoxious and anti toys. the film will probably end with a lesson in how technology and toys can co exist if time is shared but its also showing the decline in toys. how nowdays parents depend more on technology to entertain and teach their kids. that toys that were once what parents brought to entertained kids. to teach then things are now in the decline compared ti electronics and at the rate were going toys may soon go out of business as more and more companies struggle agaisnt the continued advancement of technology.
