the sale of social housing is worse. it hasn't increased ownership. all the houses that were once bought have now been sold to investors.

They need to scrap right to buy. Council housing should be seen as a stepping stone. It’s also an important revenue source to local councils.

nailed it! I'm 78 and remember so well how incensed I felt by her actions and how frustrated I felt at how working class people were manipulated the right wing media. I felt such a surge of hope when Corbyn became leader of the Labour Party. I went to a meeting before the brexit vote and was so disappointed by his lacklustre performance. I still admire his decency and real socialist beliefs but sadly I think he failed as a leader. although not easy I feel sure he could have educated people about zionism and averted the spurious claims of antisemitism. he should have made far better use of social media to offset murdoch et al.
