Looks great! Subway uses Monterey Cheddar shredded cheese a few minutes before the bread is done baking. They also spritz the bread with water before it is scored to create more humidity while it is rising. I have about 6 years Subway experience & have made thousands if not millions of Subway bread loafs of all types. I’m definitely trying this recipe! 🥖

tip. I used to work there. it's spritzed with water, rolled in oregano not italian and grated powdered parm cheese then topped with grated cheddar. its made on "italian" bread.

pro tip add shredded cheese onto the dough after you roll out but before you shape it into the buns. the cheese will bake throughout the middle and be extra cheesy when cut into
