because we aren't doing this for men. just because we are having a movement for the women is south Africa doesn't mean we don't support men but that's not what needs out attention right now. we are working to get more people to donate and contribute to the women for change movement. men's mental health and movements were in June and women weren't trying to turn it into a contest. this isn't even about mental health it's about FEMICIDE. people are upset when we speak for OURSELVES and not everyone else and then say we should speak up, tell me how that works 😐 this issue isn't about mental health and definitely not about men. and it frustrates me when people dont understand that and say they want men and women to be equal. its not about that! its about women being abused.

I’m just confused why men’s awareness is mentioned now right after women awareness started getting noticed. We have the month of June for this exact thing for men but we never focused on that until now. Why is that? Would you guys be happy that it be about women too when it’s the men’s turn? I think not.

Because purple is for women in South Africa who are being massacred it’s to stand in unity. Green was created by the men in South Africa to mock the movement women there created. It has nothing to do with SA it’s about the current gender based violence happening.
