The Last Holiday is my favorite feel good movie of all time. Your reaction to The Equalizer is valid. Amongst the awkward stunt scenes was the blatant copaganda that became so egregious that I was happy that it was canceled.

I remember Roger Ebert’s review of last holiday where he basically says the movie is formulaic nonsense but Queen Latifah is so charismatic and likeable nothing else matters and you need to see it and I’ve never agreed more; she’s just a light that elevates everything
