@officiallukecharlton: just started playing in DADGAD tuning for the first time this month. Kashmir by Zeppelin is a go to when venturing into this key. ive also been working on my own riffs in this tuning which has been fun because you can always throw in an open string with any of your chords / solos because they all work in the Major keys of: C, G, D - the G string is # in the key of A - but you really run into problems when you go to the key of E because thats when the D gets a sharp. in this tuning there's 3 open D strings - which defeats the point here - maybe with a capo on 1? I was never great with theory, but im learning :)
