@tudor.heather: I got a call from my dentist asking me to remove my denture and rinse it clean. Because I had it placed on a Friday, I haven't had my 24 hour adjustment appointment. I go in, bright and early, tomorrow for them to make adjustments. This was painful, and now my denture fits a little differently. I guess that's what tomorrow is for. #dentures #dentalimplants #dental #surgery #update

I kept mine in for a full week, took them out to clean, rinsed my mouth and popped them back in. I struggle with the glue on my top ones and they need adjusting again but it does get easier. I love taking them out at night it's the same relief as taking my bra off 😂

Over time, your gums will settle to the denture. My Pap took his out to eat. He could rip chicken off the bone. Yours will toughen up also. If you made it past putting them in and not gagging, you have the worse part beat 💪

I don’t miss that pain. I remember it too well. I’ve had 3 c-sections and a hysterectomy and don’t remember that pain, but this…this I remember. Absolute torture. Plus the shock of seeing yourself without your teeth…you’re not alone, please just remember that. There’s a whole community of us.
