@lukehanlongolf: This Plaser swing aid is the original laser training aid that helps you to practice keeping your club on the right plane . Ive owned this for about 15 years back when I bought it off a Pro called John Farmer at wychwood park golf club for around £100 . Unfortunately he does not produce them anymore as far as im aware but in todays climate id imagine something like this going for around £200-£250 and with online now im sure he would have been a lot more successful with it . The downside to this was that you couldn’t actually hit a ball with it otherwise it would break the lasers inside and looking back I think thats what my younger self likely did with it and is highly likely as to why mine doesn’t work anymore (the lasers were added in post production along with the on button) . I have been trying to get it fixed for a few years but I wouldn’t know where or who to take it to . Another downside is that you can’t see it that well when your outside with it in the light . I used to use it a lot when I was getting into the game as my natural swing was really off plane and even though I do still get a bit to inside on the takeaway even now, this club helped me massively to begin with to get the feeling of where the head should be throughout the whole swing . There has been many imitations of this since it was first designed but I havent come across any that have been as good as this . One laser points out of the sole of the head when it is pointing down towards the ground and then when you take that past parallel and the butt of the club is pointing down, the laser coming out of the sole switches off and a laser comes out of the hole in the butt. (This could be the same laser I really dont have much understanding on how it properly works inside the club itself) . I am surprised no one has tried to recreate this club in the same way, it would be the perfect trainer if the lasers were brighter and you could hit balls with it . . . #golf #golfpractice #golfaids #golfpro #golfcoach
