@anitaj___: #LONGPOST Today was my mom’s birthday… and it hit harder than I ever expected. There are moments where I catch myself wondering if I’m making her proud, wishing I could just have one more conversation, one more laugh, one more hug. It’s wild how you can miss someone so deeply that even memories feel heavy. All I have now is a place with her name on it and the memories that live in my heart. I went to see her today—I sang to her, I cried, I talked to her like she was right there, I prayed, I cleaned up her spot, and I cried even more. Grief is something that will swallow you whole if you don’t face it… and today I felt every bit of it. Lord, I miss that woman so much. But I also know she’s somewhere above, dancing, smiling, and finally at peace. Happy 46th birthday, Mom.
