I’m starting to get comments on this edit again. This is the plot of the movie. His whole teen life he loves that he was coach’s one true love. He is obsessed with that house. You can be traumatized and nostalgic about it at the same time. You can still grow up and miss that someone loved you that much even though that’s not actually love. But it felt like it at the time. Your brain doesn’t think logically about that. People don’t think there are different interpretations of songs. Whatever Sabrina is actually singing about is completely irrelevant to this edit.
