I worked in a restaurant when I was younger and I stared to notice certain patterns. People who were very kind, polite, and tipped well were usually white. And people who were rude and didn’t tip were usually of a darker persuasion

This! It’ll this applies in multiple ways. I tend to go to a lot of concerts and festivals and there’s always those select people that are plowing people over trying to cut and get in the front when people would likely let them go by kindly if they just said, excuse me or do you mind if I get by? But there’s no need to plow everyone down pushing and shoving through people it really pisses me off.

I do say please and thank you but I've found that I don't say you're welcome very much. It seems almost condescending to say it. 😅 I'm much more likely to say 'no problem' or something like that.

Honestly it’s gotten so bad when I ask everyone how they’re doing when I greet them, if they go “good how are you”, I take time to point at them and say thank you for asking I’m doing good as well. So many people just stare at you and say good like oh okay you don’t care about me ig 🙄
