Her salon is called 'Hair by Chrissy' not 'Hair inspired by Chrissy'. I think the customer has a right to query that ludicrous charge.

Exactly- it’s Basic 101 Customer Service - set the expectations! Also $4000 is wild even with the celebrity hairdresser!

Australian consumer laws are pretty strict. It could be challenged as false advertising if not specified correctly.

A lot of hairdressers have developed an attitude of “well if you don’t like it go elsewhere.” Then they’re surprised when you don’t rebook

I contacted a well known make up artist in Queensland and she has tonnes of followers and she literally was straight up honest and said I’m very sorry but I only do influencers/famous people however here is the details of some other amazing artists. Was a lovely gesture :) and fair

When I went to London, I booked in to see Richard Ward. His assistant washed my hair, but Richard styled it. Did I pay more? Yes, an extra £50 ( $90 AUD). He took his time, looked at my face, asked what I was doing & asked what I wanted him to do. I said go your hardest 😂 he did & I felt beautiful 😍

I work in marketing and this is always a sticking point with salespeople. They don’t want the caveat up front as they think it will put off sales. The thing is, it absolutely will and that’s good! Those are the wrong sales. They’re people who will be disappointed, complain, review and never return. They may have to be refunded. That’s not a good service or a sustainable pipeline. It seems so obvious to me, but it happens all the time!

it should be fully spelled out on the website or when booking. the customer should know the $3K "Chrissy experience" is 60 seconds and that's it.
