i hate how ppl started saying after this 'vincent doesn't deserve Paula' like wdym, this doesn't even happen in the novel! and Vincent DESERVES Paula. I love Lucas so much, but Vincent worked on himself to deserve Paula, and he did everything he could so that Paula could forgive herself and understand that she also deserves deserves someone who loves her like Vincent does

in the novel Vincent only said as i quote: “They don’t look much alike” to Paula and nothing more. Either it’s a mistranslation or the manhwa’s way to make things more ‘interesting’ for the readers, it’s absolutely disappointing for mischaracterizing Vincent’s character.

In the novel Vincent actually says he does feel a difference but not bc of appearance but character. When he imagined Paula, he imagined her strong and with a bold character or appearance. Since her true self wasn’t like that he stated that but I’m pretty sure he said that he loved that even more?

I honestly don't like Vincent anymore (may change, not fully done with the novel yet) cause he supposedly already figured out who Paula was, but didn't confront her, when it was clear she was suffering at the moment. I wish someone would truly comfort her.
