I’ve used STP and Techron for years and have not had any problems. Even Gumout is a good cleaner. The best is Seafoam especially when all the smoke clears.

Every now and then I’ll add a few ounces of diesel to a full tank of unlead in my f150. It’s kept it clean with zero issues.
