duh. no you fool. either you want to press charges or you don't. police are not attorneys or judges making deals for you. if you care to press charges a report will be taken since it is a misdemeanor which did not occur in the officers presence. that report along with any video evidence will be forwarded to the states attorney who will make the determination of charges to be filed.
