Marie :
This was absolutely unecessary and quite disturbing. Your tarantula could get injured as well.

I’m a little confused by these comments. While I certainly don’t enjoy watching vertebrates be eaten, what exactly is the difference between that and a cockroach? I’m aware that a lizard has a more complex brain than an average bug, but wouldn’t the tarantula just be doing this in nature anyway?

🍒 Ingredients - 1 jar (10 oz) maraschino cherries with stems, well drained - ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened - 2 tbsp light corn syrup - ¼ tsp vanilla extract - 3 cups powdered sugar, plus extra if needed - 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips or chocolate melting wafers - 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother dipping chocolate) 👩‍🍳 Directions 1. Drain the cherries thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels. Let them air-dry for 30–60 minutes. 2. In a bowl, beat the softened butter, corn syrup, and vanilla until smooth. 3. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar until a soft, pliable dough forms. 4. Take a small piece of the fondant, flatten it, and wrap it around each cherry, sealing completely. Place the cherries on a parchment-lined tray. 5. Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes until firm. 6. Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30-second intervals, stirring between each interval. 7. Dip each chilled cherry into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off. 8. Place the dipped cherries back on the parchment-lined tray. 9. Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set. 10. For the best traditional cherry-candy texture, store the cherries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for several days before serving. #holidaycountdown #holidayrecipes #phototrend #newrecipesposteddaily #followmyrecipes
